ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is a used products management cabinet consolidating the household storage of recyclable, reuseable, compostable and disposable materials in a convenience and functionally attractive manner particularly compatible with existing community-based recycling programs which utilize large, mass-produced containers (commonly known in Ontario as "blue boxes") for the collection of recyclable and other materials from individual households. The invention has a counter top surface, and a top drawer with allocated space for separate storage of used materials such as newspapers, plastic bags and for a compost container. Particularly, it has a main cupboard compartment with a sliding recessible tray therein which operates by means of an arm connected pivotally to both the cupboard door and to the sliding tray; the tray is designed to receive and hold the above- mentioned recycling containers such as are in common use in community recycling projects. Also, onto the back of the closure of the second main cupboard compartment is attached a frame suitable for holding removable disposable means for holding used products such as those that are not reuseable or recyclable. The invention may also have another cupboard for storage of other items such as returnable bottles. In one of its forms the invention has a hole in the front face of the top drawer allowing manual access to materials contained therein, such as plastic bags.
