The invention pertains to valuable substances and mixtures of valuable substances that can be used in wetting agents, de- tergents and/or cleaners and that take the form of pourable granular material that is obtained by loading a granular base (carrier bead) with a preparation (applied substance) containing valuable substances of the indicated type. The invention is characterized in that the carrier bead is a material obtained by spray and/or fluidized bed drying in superheated steam. The carrier bead is also preferably constituted using surface active valuable substances, especially anionic surface active agents which at least in part are solids at temperatures of about 100°C. The invention further pertains to the non-loaded carrier beads of the kind previously de- scribed, a process for producing the loaded carrier beads and the use of the loaded and non-loaded carrier beads as constituents of wetting agents, detergents and/or cleaners offered in solid form.
