A sensation of presence of voice chat in a virtual space is enhanced. A user speech synthesizer used in a virtual space sharing system where information processing devices share the virtual space. The user speech synthesizer comprises a speech data acquiring section (60) for acquiring speech data representing a speech uttered by the user of one of the information processing devices, an environment sound storage section (66) for storing an environment sound associated with one or more regions defined in the virtual space, a region specifying section (64) for specifying a region corresponding to the user in the virtual space, and an environment sound synthesizing section (68) for acquiring the environment sound associated with the specified region from the environment sound storage section (66), combining the acquired environment sound and the speech data and synthesizing synthesized speech data.
La présente invention permet d~améliorer une sensation de présence de conversation vocale dans un espace virtuel. Un synthétiseur de message vocal utilisé dans un système de partage d~espace virtuel dans lequel des dispositifs de traitement d~informations partagent l~espace virtuel. Le synthétiseur de message vocal comprend une section d~acquisition de données vocales (60) pour acquérir les données vocales représentant des paroles prononcées par l~utilisateur de l~un des dispositifs de traitement d~informations, une section de stockage sonore d~environnement (66) pour stocker un son d~environnement associé à une ou plusieurs régions définies dans l~espace virtuel, une section de spécification de région (64) pour spécifier une région correspondant à l~utilisateur dans l~espace virtuel, et une section de synthétisation de son d~environnement (68) pour acquérir le son d~environnement associé à la région spécifiée à partir de la section de stockage de son d~environnement (66), combinant le son d~environnement acquis et les données vocales et synthétisant les données vocales synthétisées.
