A user wearable device (30) for providing a sterile environment for connecting a user's catheter (12) to a fill-drain tube (22) for performing an exchange of used and fresh peritoneal dialysis fluid includes a pouch (30). The pouch has exposeable openings (38, 42) for inserting the catheter and the fill-drain tube into the interior (36) of the pouch from the exterior of the pouch. The user (10) connects the catheter to the fill-drain tube within the interior of the pouch for draining and feeding dialysis fluid in a sterile environment. Hand covering elements (46) in communication with the exterior of the pouch are disposed internal to the pouch such that the user can insert his hands (48) into the hand covering elements and connect the catheter to the fill- drain tube within the interior of the pouch. The hand covering elements enable the user to manipulate the catheter and the fill-drain tube from a non-sterile environment external to the pouch.
L'invention concerne un dispositif portable (30) sous forme de poche (30), comprenant un environnement stérile permettant de connecter un cathéter (12) à un tube de remplissage-drainage (22) pour remplacer un liquide de dialyse péritonéale usé par un liquide de dialyse péritonéale neuf. La poche est équipée d'ouvertures (38, 42) pouvant être exposées, servant à introduire le cathéter et le tube de remplissage-drainage à l'intérieur (36) de la poche, depuis l'extérieur de la poche. L'utilisateur (10) connecte le cathéter au tube de remplissage-drainage à l'intérieur de la poche pour drainer et introduire le liquide de dialyse dans un environnement stérile. Des gants de protection intégrés (46), disposés à l'intérieur de la poche et reliés à l'extérieur de la poche, permettent à l'utilisateur d'insérer ses mains (48) dans la poche et de connecter le cathéter au tube de remplissage-drainage à l'intérieur de la poche. Les gants de protection intégrés permettent à l'utilisateur de manipuler le cathéter et le tube de remplissage-drainage depuis un environnement non stérile situé à l'extérieur de la poche.
