The present invention discloses ultraviolet light curable paint compositions to be used in a multilayer paint coating and method for applying such compositions to a substrate. Suitable substrates include glass, metals, and various plastics such as polycarbonates. The disclosed compositions do not contain any significant amount of volatile organic solvents.
