The present invention relates to a method for preparation of an ultraviolet (UV)-curable inorganic-organic hybrid resin containing about or less than 4% volatiles and less than 30% organic residues. The UV-curable inorganic-organic hybrid resin obtained according to this method can be UV-cured within a markedly very short time and enables, upon curing, the formation of a transparent shrink- and crack-free glass-like product having high optical quality, high thermal stability and good bonding properties. In view of these properties, this hybrid resin can be used in various applications such as electro-optic, microelectronic, stereolithography and biophotonic applications.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé pour la préparation d'une résine hybride inorganique-organique durcissable par les ultraviolets (UV) contenant environ 4 % ou moins de matières volatiles et moins de 30 % de résidus organiques. La résine hybride inorganique-organique durcissable par les UV obtenue selon ce procédé peut être durcie par les UV en un temps vraiment très court et permet, lors du durcissement, la formation d'un produit de type verre transparent dépourvu de retrait et de fissure présentant une qualité optique élevée, une stabilité thermique élevée et de bonnes propriétés de collage. Au vu de ces propriétés, cette résine hybride peut être utilisée dans diverses applications telles que des applications électro-optiques, microélectroniques, stéréo-lithographiques et bio-photoniques.
