An intaglio printing ink comprising a first binder compound selected from the group of water-soluble or water-thinnable acrylate oligomers, and optionally, a second monomeric binder compound selected from the group comprising water- soluble or water-thinnable PEG diacrylate or polyethoxylated polyol triacrylate monomers to adjust the viscosity of the ink composition. To initiate polymerization of the binder compounds upon irradiation by electromagnetic radiation or electron beam radiation a photoinitiator is included. Further optional additives, such as pigments, fillers, photosensitizers, stabilizers emulsifiers and security pigments may be present. The ink shows excellent wipeability and allows precipitation from the wiping solution.
Cette invention se rapporte à une encre pour héliogravure, qui comprend un premier composé liant choisi dans le groupe des oligomères d'acrylate hydrosolubles ou hydrodiluables et, éventuellement un second composé liant monomère choisi dans le groupe des monomères de triacrylate de polyol polyéthoxylé ou de diacrylate PEG hydrosolubles ou hydrodiluables, pour permettre le réglage de la viscosité de la composition d'encre. Pour initialiser la polymérisation des composés liants lors de l'exposition à un rayonnement électromagnétique ou à un rayonnement par faisceau d'électrons, on inclut un photo-initiateur. D'autres additifs optionnels, tels que pigments, charges, photosensibilisants, stabilisateurs, émulsifiants et pigments de sécurité, peuvent être présents. Cette encre possède une excellente aptitude à l'essuyage et permet la précipitation de la solution d'essuyage.
