The present invention provides an adhesive article including a pressure- sensitive adhesive composition which exhibits ultraviolet radiation resistance and has a midblock Tg of about -5 ~C to about -30 ~C at a frequency of about 1.0 Hz. An adhesive article according to the invention is suitable for use in window insulation kits because of its improved stability over a wide temperature range and upon exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UV) as well as its adhesion to low energy surfaces, such as a surface of films made from polyolefins.
L'invention concerne un article adhésif renfermant une composition autocollante qui résiste aux UV et qui présente une température de transition vitreuse médiane T¿g? comprise entre environ -5· C et environ -30· C à une fréquence d'environ 1,0Hz. Le type d'article adhésif considéré est utilisable dans les kits d'étanchéité pour fenêtre du fait de sa stabilité améliorée sur une large gamme de températures et en présence d'UV, mais aussi par sa capacité d'adhésion sur des surfaces à faible énergie, comme la surface des films à base de polyoléfines.
