ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Polyolefins, in particular polypropylene, are stabilized against UV degradation by a system of ethylene vinyl acetate, containing at least 20% by weight vinyl acetate and one or more of a nickel or zinc-N,N -dialkyl dithiocarbamate or a piperidine derivative such as bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)sebacate.
