The present invention relates to the field of bacterial polysaccharide antigen vaccines. In particular, the present invention relates to vaccines comprising a pneumococcal polysaccharide antigen, typically a pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate antigen formulated with a protein antigen from Streptococcus penumoniae selected from the group consisting of PhtA, PhtD, PhtB, PhtE, SpsA, LytB, LytC, LytA, Sp125, Sp101, Sp128, Sp130 and Sp133, and optionally a Th1- inducing adjuvant.
