A B S T R A C T There is provided a method for preparing gamma globulin from human antisera having specific antibody concentrations of at least 200 µg/ml obtained from the blood of humans previously injected with a Group B specific polysaccharide antigen having a molecular size of at least 5 x 105 and isolated from Group B streptococci, which comprises fractionating said anti- sera to provide a hyperimmune globulin fraction useful in immunization against Group B streptococci.
