The present invention is in the field of pneumococcal capsular saccharide conjugate vaccines. Specifically, a multi- valent Streptococcus pneumoniae immunogenic composition is provided with various conjugated capsular saccharides from different S. pneumoniae serotypes conjugated to 2 or more different carrier proteins, where the composition comprises serotype 19F capsu-lar saccharide conjugated to diphtheria toxoid (DT) or CRM197, optionally wherein 19F is the only saccharide in the composition conjugated to diphtheria toxoid (DT) or CRM197.
La présente invention trouve une application dans le domaine des vaccins pneumococciques conjugués à base de saccharides capsulaires. Plus particulièrement, elle concerne une composition immunogène multivalente contre Streptococcus pneumoniae, dans laquelle divers saccharides capsulaires conjugués issus de différents sérotypes de S. pneumoniae sont conjugués à au moins deux protéines porteuses différentes. Ladite composition renferme un saccharide capsulaire du sérotype 19F conjugué à un toxoïde diphtérique (DT) ou à CRM197, 19F étant éventuellement le seul saccharide dans la composition à être conjugué à un toxoïde diphtérique (DT) ou à CRM197.
