Complementary peptide having at least a sequence complementary to a major immunogenic region of an acetycholine receptor involved in a myasthenia garvis, characterized in that the complementary peptide has at least a sequence SEQ. ID NO1 with a tryptophan in position 8, carrying at least one optionally substituted hydrocarbon group. Therapeutic composition comprising the complementary peptide according to the invention and use thereof for manufacturing a vaccine to be used in a therapeutic or prophylactic treatment of myasthenia gravis in mammals.
La présente invention concerne un peptide complémentaire comportant au moins une séquence complémentaire d'une région immunogène majeure d'un récepteur de l'acétycholine impliqué dans la myasthénie. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le peptide complémentaire comporte au moins une séquence SEQ. ID NO :1 qui contient un tryptophane en position 8 et porte au moins un groupe hydrocarboné éventuellement substitué. La présente invention concerne également une composition thérapeutique constituée du peptide complémentaire selon l'invention et l'utilisation de ladite composition pour la fabrication d'un vaccin destiné au traitement thérapeutique ou prophylactique de la myasthénie chez des mammifères.
