Abstract of the Disclosure A vacuum breaker valve of the type used to prevent collapse of a fuel tank or the like while it is being pumped out. The valve includes a hollow body which is secured in an aperture in the vessel, a valve stem mounted for reciprocal motion in the body, and a valve head on the stem which co-operates with a valve seat on the body. The valve head is spring biased toward a normally closed position. An air inlet port is provided in communication with an air passage around the stem and an outlet port communicating with the valve seat thus allowing air to enter the vessel when the valve head is moved from the seat by excessive pressure.
