A B S T R A C T In a vacuum cleaner, a rigid vacuum duct element, adapted to be coupled to the output port of a vacuum cleaner, is coupled to a disposable porous bag by way of a unitary duct element of a semi-rigid plastic material. The semi- rigid duct element has corrugations at the portion thereof joining the rigid duct element, to impart flexibility thereto. The rigid duct element passes through and is secured sealingly to the porous outer vacuum cleaner bag.
