- 22 - ABSTRACT A vacuum-cleaner handle comprising a connection member connected to a handle tube and a handle member by which the vacuum-cleaner is held when in use. When the vacuum-cleaner is in its operative position, this handle member is disposed at least partly above the axis of the handle-tube and at an acute angle to the said axis. The upwardly directed handle member provides a lever-arm by means of which the said vacuum-cleaner can be guided with little effort. The vacuum-cleaner cord may be wound simply and neatly onto a cord holder which is fitted below the vacuum-cleaner handle and does not interfere with the operation of the said vacuum-cleaner.
