A vacuum cleaner nozzle is proposed which comprises a foam unit as suction part. This forms the suction surface. The nozzle head of the vacuum cleaner nozzle consists of a soft elastic material, especially of rubber or a soft plastic. In an additional embodiment, the vacuum cleaner nozzle itself consists of the foam unit, which however, is coated in a sealing manner all around with the exception of the suction surface. This vacuum cleaner nozzle assures the highest possible protection of objects to be vacuumed without leaving dust streaks. Damage from scratching or banging of the nozzle body against sensitive objects or surfaces is avoided.
