ABSTRACT A vacuum generator of the ejector type includes a control valve subjected to frictional damping forces wherein the frictional damping forces are varied in response to changes in pressure differentials in the device such that the control valve is enabled to move quickly between opened and closed conditions thereby avoiding throttling of the motive fluid.
