Abstract of the Disclosure A vacuum apparatus comprises a frame which carries two vertical plates with a mobile plate being mounted in guides therebetween. One part of a die or half-die is rigidly fixed on the mobile plate by means of a die holder telescopically connected to a vacuum casting chamber housing rigidly mounted on a stationary plate that carries the other half-die. Air- tight seals are provided at the housing joints; the housing is provided with viewing ports and with a means for cleaning a die cavity. Such constructional arrangement of the apparatus has made it possible to improve quality of cast metal blanks.
