A vacuum packaging machine has a plurality of vacuum chambers (3a, 3b) each arranged to receive at least one unsealed product package and operable to perform an independent vacuum sealing operation, each vacuum chamber having a longitudinal direction defined by a direction of travel of the respective product package through the chamber (3a, 3b), each chamber having a heat seal assembly (15) therein which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction. In infeed conveyor (17) is preferably provided with a telescoping portion (17a) which can extend over the heat seal assembly o9r a part thereof. Each vacuum chamber may have a respective chamber bed (9) and independently moveable chamber hood (11), and the chamber beds (9) are preferably synchronously vertically moveable. The vacuum packaging machine may be used in combination with a suitable product bagging or wrapping machine.
Une machine d'emballage sous vide comprend plusieurs chambres à vide (3a, 3b) dont chacune sert à recevoir au moins un emballage de produit non scellé et fonctionne de manière à effectuer une opération de scellement sous vide indépendante, chaque chambre à vide ayant une direction longitudinale définie par une direction de déplacement de l'emballage d'un produit correspondant à travers la chambre (3a, 3b), chaque chambre comprenant un ensemble à thermoscellement (15) qui s'étend en travers la direction longitudinale. Le convoyeur d'entrée (17) est muni de préférence d'une partie télescopique (17a) qui peut s'étendre par-dessus l'ensemble de thermoscellement ou une partie de celui-ci. Chaque chambre à vide peut comprendre un lit de chambre respectif (9) et un capuchon de chambre pouvant être déplacé indépendamment (11), les lits de chambre (9) pouvant être de préférence déplacés synchrones en direction verticale. La machine d'emballage sous vide peut s'utiliser en combinaison avec une machine correspondant de mise sous sac ou d'enveloppement.
