A vacuum pump control apparatus for an evacuating type waste water collecting system is disclosed. In the system, waste water discharged from houses and facilities is collected into a water collecting tank by means of vacuum sewer pipes provided with a negative pressure therein and the waste water collected in the water collecting tank is discharged by means of a booster pump while the air in the water collecting tank is discharged by means of a vacuum pump. The vacuum pump control apparatus comprises gas-liquid ratio detection means for detecting the ratio of the amount of air to the amount of waste water to be collected into the water collecting tank; and control means for controlling the operating time of the vacuum pump based on the gas-liquid ratio detected by the gas-liquid ratio detecting means so that a target value of the gas-liquid ratio is recovered when it falls below the target value. By this arrangement, the gas-liquid ratio within the vacuum sewer pipes is kept to an ideal value to thereby prevent an air lock forming in the vacuum sewer pipes.
Appareil de commande pour pompe à vide de système de collecte d'eaux usées du type à évacuation. Dans ce type de système, les eaux usées évacuées des maisons et des installations sont acheminées dans un réservoir de collecte par des canalisations d'évacuation sous vide (en dépression), puis évacuées du réservoir au moyen d'un surpresseur, l'air contenu dans le réservoir étant, lui, purgé au moyen d'une pompe à vide. L'appareil de commande de la pompe à vide comporte un détecteur de rapport gaz/liquide, c'est-à-dire de rapport entre la quantité d'eaux usées et la quantité d'air pouvant être admises dans le réservoir, et une commande servant à régler la durée de fonctionnement de la pompe à vide en fonction du rapport gaz/liquide détecté, de manière à maintenir la valeur cible déterminée du rapport gaz/liquide dans les canalisations d'évacuation et à ainsi prévenir la formation de poches d'air dans ces dernières.
