This invention provides a validating device for validating at least one dimension of a part as being at least a minimum magnitude. It may also validate a dimension of a part as being no greater than a maximum magnitude or between a minimum magnitude and maximum magnitude. The validating device includes a frame having a cavity and employs a plunger and a sensor. One portion of the plunger engages the part and another portion activates the sensor. When the sensor activates, it indicates that the dimension of the part is at least the minimum magnitude. The cavity for receiving the part may be sized to correspond with maximum magnitudes for the same dimension and/or other dimensions for the part such that the part cannot fit in the cavity if a dimension exceeds its maximum magnitude and therefore the sensor cannot be activated and the part cannot be validated.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de validation permettant de valider qu'au moins une dimension d'une pièce correspond à au moins une grandeur minimale. Il peut également valider qu'une dimension d'une pièce n'est pas supérieure à une grandeur maximale ou qu'elle se trouve entre une grandeur minimale et une grandeur maximale. Le dispositif de validation comprend un cadre ayant une cavité et emploie un piston et un capteur. Une partie du piston engage la pièce et une autre partie active du capteur. Lorsque le capteur s'active, il indique que la dimension de la pièce représente au moins la grandeur minimale. La cavité destinée à recevoir la pièce peut être dimensionnée pour correspondre aux grandeurs maximales pour la même dimension et/ou d'autres dimensions de la pièce, de sorte que la pièce ne puisse pas s'insérer dans la cavité si une dimension supérieure à la grandeur maximale et, par conséquent, le capteur ne peut pas être activé et la pièce ne peut être validée.
