The invention relates to a valuable document (1) comprising at least one security element (6) that is provided with a marking layer (8) in a marking region (4), said layer containing an electroluminescent pigment (10) and being applied to a carrier body. The electroluminescence of the pigment (10) of one such valuable document must be able to be excited even with comparably low, externally applied field intensities. To this end, a plurality of electrically insulated field displacement elements (14) having a minimum dielectric constant of 100 is distributed over the surface of the marking region (4), said field displacement elements being at a distance of approximately between 5 ~m and 500 µm from each other and compressing the applied field in the gaps thereinbetween.
L'invention concerne un document de valeur (1) comportant un élément de sécurité (6) présentant, dans une zone de marquage (4), une couche de marquage (8) disposée sur un corps support (2), pourvue de pigments électroluminescents (10). L'invention vise à mettre en oeuvre un tel document de valeur dont l'électroluminescence des pigments (10) doit pouvoir être excitée avec des intensités de champ, appliquées de façon externe, relativement faibles. A cet effet, la zone de marquage (4) comporte une pluralité d'éléments de refoulement de champ (14), isolés électriquement, répartis en surface, présentant une constante diélectrique supérieure à 100, espacés en moyenne de 5 ?m à 500 ?m les uns par rapport aux autres, lesdits éléments comprimant le champ appliqué dans leurs interstices.
