ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE. A valve comprising a first chamber on its control or operating side, and a second chamber on its fluid side, which chambers are separated from one another by means of an uninterrupted diaphragm. The control-side chamber has a fluid outlet which is opened and closed, by means of a valve needle. The valve needle bears with its base on the uninterrupted diaphragm via a disc of a friction- reducing material such as polytetrafluoroethylene.
