ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved valve arrangement for an auxiliary residual heat removal system of a nuclear reactor plant, having a pair of electrical busses, and a pair of circulating fluid trains which are capable of transferring fluid outside the containment vessel to a heat exchanger, the improvement comprising the parallel valving system arranged for each train so that failure of either bus does not inhibit the functioning of valves necessary to permit cooling down of the primary reactor coolant by the residual heat removal system.
