Abstract of the Disclosure A valve bag for bulk materials has a filler valve inserted in an end closure section and consisting of a tube of flexible material which passes through the end closure section and a wire spring attached to the tube and bearing against the end closure section for folding over the tube to pinch off the tube and thereby close the valve automatically after the bag has been filled. The spring may be shaped as an S, Z or 8.
