ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A valve for a positive-displacement machine comprises a body having a gas passage and lateral outlet ports overlapped with reed-type closing members fitted with U-shaped support- ing elements held in place by an attachment plate mounted on the end face of the valve body. The gas passage is made thro- ugh, and its outlet is overlapped by a closure plate, the stroke of the closure plate being limited by the inner surfa- ce of the attachment plate provided with ports to pass the gas therethrough.
