14 ABSTRACT An axially movable valve piston (3) and a rotatable spindle (2), which are connected with one another via a thread (24; 32), are guided in a headpiece (1). A sealing ring (5), which projects beyond the end face of the headpiece (1 ) facing the supply duct, is held by the headpiece (1). The sealing ring (5) is designed on the projecting outer end face as a surface (54) for resting against a valve seat (62) and on the opposite inner end face as a lip seal (52) cooperating with the valve piston (3). In its section cooperating with the lip seal (52), the valve piston (3) is designed in a flat and seal-free manner.
