APPLICATION FOR U.S. LETTERS PATENT IN THE NAME OF JEAN FAYOT SPECIFICATION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A control valve has two shells together forming a casing, with a membrane clamped between them. One shell has inlet and outlet ports divided by a wall with which the membrane co-operates under the influence of pressure within the other shell. The later is connected to the inlet port by a permanently open passage and to the outlet port by a controlled passage. The wall has a rib against which the membrane rests in the closed position, and the profiles of this rib ensure an efficient seal. The outer shell with the control cavity can be asymetrically shaped. - 1 -
