ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A valve for use with the rock drill mounting of Canadian patent application Serial No. 239 592 is provided. The valve has a fixed spindle and two rotatable sleeves concentric with the spindle and one another. There are inlet and outlet posts axially of the spindle and an exhaust port from one outer sleeve. The inner sleeve may be turned by a handle to feed the outlet port and the outer sleeve by means operated by fluid from the outlet port. By moving the handle the mounting is moved, but as a feed-back, the outer sleeve returns to restore the original valve configuration.
