ABSTRACT In the game of curling, a plastic slider is used on either the left or right curling shoe depending on whether a person is right or left handed. The purpose of the slider is to enable a curler to execute a smooth delivery hence where a curler is not on the ice surface, he or she must protect the slider from sand, grit or other matter that may scratch or deteriorate it. The plastic slider is also very slippery on tile or carpeted areas, in particular stairs. This invention is worn over the curling slider shoe enabling a curler to walk freely within the curling complex without fear of injuring himself or damaging the slider.
