Abstract of the Disclosure Vapors displaced from a volatile liquid container, such as a vehicle's fuel tank, during refilling of the container are recovered by a system employing a liquid jet gas pump to produce a suction in a vapor removal conduit which communicates with the container through a vapor recovery dispensing nozzle. The vapor recovery dispensing nozzle is provided with a relief valving arrangement to protect both the nozzle and the container against excessive pressure conditions and a vapor shut-off valve that can override a vapor pressure regulator valve to seal the vapor conduit when liquid is not being dispensed. - 1 -
