ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The wall tubes of the combustion chamber of a steam generator extend along the chamber which is divided transversely into at least two burner layers. Each layer includes at least two burners disposed in a common transverse plane. The jet axis of the flame from each burner extends tangentially of a circle concentric with the longitudinal axis of the chamber. All burners are oriented in the same direction of rotation relative to the chamber. The burners of one layer are offset with respect to those of the other layer in the peripheral direction. The invention improves the uniformity of the condition of the working medium at the outlet from the combustion chamber. Another advantage is in its structural simplicity.
