ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a vapourizing device for volatile active substances consisting of a housing, having open- ings, a carrier arranged in the housing such that a part thereof faces towards the openings in the housing, and a gas tight cap- sule filled with absorbent material for storing the active sub- stances. The capsule is adapted to bring the absorbent material into contact with the carrier whereby active substances stored in the carrier are gradually absorbed by the carrier and are then vapourized and pass through the openings in the housing.
