VARIABLE AIR VOLUME AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Abstract of the Disclosure A variable air volume air conditioning system is disclosed which is capable of accurately controlling temperature and humidity levels in a conditioned zone while achieving significant economy of operation. The system includes water spray means for substantially saturating a moving air stream with water, variable capacity fan means for moving variable volumes of air through a supply air duct, temperature sensing means located in the conditioned zone with control means associated therewith for modulating supply air damper means for directing conditioned air into the zone and pressure sensing means located in the supply air duct with control means associated therewith for modulating the water spray means and variable capacity fan means.
