A speech coding method using analysis-by-synthesis includes sampling an input speech and dividing the resulting speech samples into frames and subframes. The frames are analyzed to determine coefficients for the synthesis filter (136). The subframes are categorized into unvoiced (116), voiced (118) and onset (114) categories. Based on the category, a different coding scheme is used. The coded speech is fed into the synthesis filter (136), the output (138) of which is compared to the input speech samples (104) to produce an error signal (144). The coding is then adjusted per the error signal.
L'invention concerne un procédé de codage de la parole utilisant l'analyse par synthèse et consistant à échantillonner un signal vocal d'entrée et à diviser les échantillons vocaux résultants en trames et sous-trames. On analyse ces trames afin de déterminer les coefficients pour le filtre (136) de synthèse. Les sous-trames sont classées dans les catégories sourde (116), voisée (118) et d'amorce (114). Selon la catégorie, on utiliser un schéma de codage différent. On introduit alors les sons codés dans le filtre (136) de synthèse, et on compare sa sortie (138) aux échantillons (104) vocaux d'entrée en vue d'obtenir un signal d'erreur (144). On ajuste alors le codage en fonction du signal d'erreur.
