An improved variable displacement compressor is disclosed. A compressor has a cam plate that is mounted on a drive shaft for integral rotation therewith. At least one piston is coupled to the cam plate. The cam plate is tiltable between its maximum inclining position and its minimum inclining position with respect to an axis of the drive shaft. The piston reciprocates in a cylinder bore by a stroke based on an inclined angle of the cam plate and compresses gas that is supplied to the cylinder bore from an external gas circuit and discharge the compressed gas to the external gas circuit that is connected to the interior of compressor by way of a gas passage. The shutter body is urged by a first spring and a second spring in opposite directions. The urging force of the first spring is greater than that of the second spring. A shutter body that is biased to disconnect the gas passage from the external gas circuit.

Cette invention concerne un compresseur à cylindrée variable amélioré qui comporte un plateau oscillant solidaire d'un arbre d'entraînement et tournant avec celui-ci. Au moins un piston est couplé à ce plateau oscillant qui peut être incliné selon divers angles entre un maximum et un minimum par rapport à l'axe de l'arbre d'entraînement. Le piston est animé d'un mouvement de va-et-vient à l'intérieur d'un cylindre, sa course étant fonction de l'angle d'inclinaison du plateau oscillant, et comprime le gaz qui est acheminé dans le cylindre à partir d'un circuit extérieur raccordé à l'intérieur du compresseur par un canalisation d'alimentation. L'organe obturateur est commandé par deux ressorts antagonistes qui forcent son déplacement en sens opposés. Le premier ressort exerce une force plus grande que le second. L'invention concerne également un organe obturateur à ressort agissant pour assurer la fermeture de la canalisation de raccordement au circuit d'alimentation extérieur.
