VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT HYDRAULIC DRIVE WITH DISCONNECT Abstract of the Disclosure A variable displacement hydraulic motor propulsion system is provided wherein a clutch means may be disengaged and the displacement of the motor may be reduced to zero to prevent drive of the motor. In a preferred form, a motor speed signal is used to control clutch disengagement to prevent drive of the motor by a propulsion wheel in a high speed condition.
