ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a flow control arrangement for the inlet of a sewer pipe comprising a mounting bracket for securement about the sewer inlet and adapted to removably receive a flow control member which cooperates with the mounting bracket, when received thereby, to define a control orifice which at least partially determines a characteristic of the fluid flow which passes there through to the sewer pipe. According to a preferred aspect of the invention, the size of the control orifice is variable to allow setting of the desired orifice opening for restricting the fluid flow to the sewer pipe. This arrangement provides a simple means for allowing control of the fluid flow from a catch basin into the inlet sewer for both existing and new storm water systems.
