ABSTRACT A liquid metering pump has power-operated poppet valves in its intake and return conduits. The quantity of liquid discharged is controlled by a movable cam which determines how long the liquid return conduit is open. A switch operated by a portion of a pumping diaphragm prevents excess pressure from damaging the pump.
