A device (1) for displaying an aggregate image (2) the form of a matrix. Each cell (4) of the matrix (3) enables display of an elementary image (6). Said elementary images are carried out on a ribbon (7). In order to vary the aggregate image, the elementary image is varied, the former being selected on the ribbon by causing the ribbon to run off inside the cell. Said device enables the creation of very large display panels, particularly those used at airports.

Ces images élémentaires sont réalisées sur un ruban (7). Pour faire varier l'image globale on fait varier l'image élémentaire, celle-ci étant sélectionnée sur le ruban en faisant défiler le ruban dans la cellule. Un tel dispositif est adapté à la réalisation de très grands panneaux d'affichage, notamment utilisables dans les aéroports.
