ABSTRACT A variable rate pressure relief spring kit for us in control- ling the oil pressure of the oil from flowing from the oil pump to the rocker arms, crankshaft and gear chamber in a Harley Davidson 74 and 80 cubic inch Twin-V engine including a plurality of springs. Each of the springs have a different free length. Each of the springs have a similar diameter. Each spring length has a free length corresponding to differ- ent oil pressures in the oil passages extending between the oil pump and the rocker arms and the crankshaft and the gear chamber of the engine.
