ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A universal joint seal can be made in varying sizes to accommodate trunnions of universal joint crosses and cups of various diameters. The seal comprises a sealing member having multiple thin lips which engage an open end portion of the cup and the trunnion adjacent its base with the seal being confined by the cup and trunnion. The sealing member can be molded and then a segment removed to make a sealing member of smaller diameter or a longer segment can be added to make a sealing member of larger diameter. The sealing member can also be extruded and then cut to length to fit a particular trunnion and bearing cup. -14-
