Curable composition comprising at least one polyaromatic having reactive end groups, at least one thermoset resin, and a reactive catalyst, wherein the reactive end groups are adapted to react with the catalyst, characterised in that the catalyst comprises a Lewis acid having amine functionality, suitably the catalyst is of the formula: LXn.R where LXn is a Lewis acid and R is a amine; process for the preparation thereof; method for curing thereof; cured products and prepregs; and method for cure cycle design.
La présente invention concerne une composition polymérisable qui comprend au moins un agent polyaromatique possédant des groupes de terminaison réactifs, au moins une résine thermodurcissable, et un catalyseur réactif. Ces groupes de terminaison réactifs sont adaptés de façon à réagir avec le catalyseur. Cette composition est caractérisée par le fait que ce catalyseur comprend un acide de Lewis possédant une fonctionnalité amine, ce catalyseur étant judicieusement représenté par la formule suivante: LXn.R. Dans cette formule LXn est un acide de Lewis et R est une amine. Cette invention concerne aussi des produits polymérisés et préimprégnés, et un procédé de calcul du cycle de polymérisation.
