A system is provided for storing, distributing, and managing variable-type communication cables in open office environment. The system of the present invention uses a centrally located multi-user communication cable interface module, a series of cable channels with protective caps adapted to be mounted on most partition panel upper surface, a plurality of jumper cables routed horizontally from said communication cable interface module along said cable channels, and a plurality of routing conduits adjacent the partition panel for vertically directing the jumper cables from the cable channel to the communication cable receiving device. The present invention eliminates inconvenience and extended downtime associated withoffice relocations by maintaining a central connection and easily accessible, removable, and reconnectable jumper cables while providing virtually invisible cable management and distribution. The system permits management and distribution of copper, coaxial, and fiber optic communication cables simultaneously while maintaining the standards set by the EIA/TIA.
Système permettant de loger, de répartir et de gérer différents types de câbles de transmission dans un bureau à aire ouverte. Le système utilise un module central d'interface de câbles de transmission multi-utilisateurs, une série de canalisations de câble à couvertures adaptables à la surface faîtière de la plupart des cloisons, un certain nombre de câbles de jonction partant horizontalement dudit module central et longeant lesdites canalisations, et un certain nombre de conduits adjacents à la cloison pour guider verticalement les câbles de jonction de la canalisation au dispositif récepteur du câble de transmission. La présente invention remédie aux inconvénients et aux longs temps d'attente associés aux réinstallations de bureaux en maintenant une connexion centrale et des câbles de jonction facilement accessibles, enlevables et rebranchables, tout en assurant la gestion et la répartition pour ainsi dire invisibles des câbles. Le système permet la gestion et la répartition de câbles de transmission de cuivre, de câbles coaxiaux et de câbles optiques tout en respectant les normes de l'EIA/TIA.
