Variable volume container composed of essentially rigid elements ensuring superior airtightness and a sealed environment, in particular for preserving liquids and preventing any contact with the air. A lower element (1) of the container comprises a tank (14) into which is poured a liquid of variable volume to be stored (15), and a sealing envelope (16) surrounding the tank and containing a steady volume of a second liquid (17). An upper element (2) comprises a cover (20) which floats on the stored liquid, and a vertical skirt (24) which dips into the sealing envelope. The upper element (2) rises and descends with the level of stored liquid and traps an intermediate gas (29) between the two liquids (15 and 17). The container of the invention is useful for storing and/or carrying liquid products, in particular, beverages, hydrocarbons, waste water and farm effluents.
L'invention concerne un réservoir à volume variable qui se compose d'éléments essentiellement rigides et assure une excellente étanchéité vis-à-vis de l'atmosphère et de l'environnement, notamment pour conserver un liquide sans contact avec l'air. Un élément inférieur (1) du réservoir comporte une cuve (14), recevant un volume variable de liquide à stocker (15), et une chemise d'étanchéité (16) qui entoure la cuve et contient un volume constant d'un second liquide (17). Un élément supérieur (2) comporte un couvercle (20) qui flotte sur le liquide stocké, ainsi qu'une jupe verticale (24) qui plonge dans la chemise d'étanchéité. L'élément supérieur (2) monte et descend avec le niveau du liquide stocké et il retient captif un gaz intermédiaire (29) entre les deux liquides (15 et 17). Application au stockage et/ou transport de tous produits liquides, notamment des boissons, des hydrocarbures, des eaux usées ou des lisiers.
