A delivery sheath for an intravascular emboli capturing filter i ncluding an elongate tube having a distal region having a reduced thickness distal wall region. The delivery sheath, according to the present invention, can have a thinner, softer, distal most portion for superior and more benigm interaction with vessel interior walls. The present invention includes an intravascular emboli filter system including an elongate shaft having a distal region, an expandable emboli filter operably coupled to the elongate shaft distal region, and an elongate sheath having a lumen therethrough disposed over the elongate shaft. The elongate sheath can have a distally decreasing outside diameter taper or reduced wall thickness region having improved atraumatic characteristics.
L'invention porte sur une gaine d'administration d'un filtre de capture d'embole intravasculaire, cette gaine comprenant un tube allongé dont la région distale comporte une région de paroi distale d'épaisseur réduite. La gaine d'administration de cette invention peut avoir un partie plus distale, plus souple, et plus mince pour une interaction supérieure et plus bénigne avec les parois internes du vaisseau. Cette invention comprend un système de filtre pour embole intravasculaire comportant un arbre allongé pourvu d'une région distale, un filtre extensible pour embole couplé de manière fonctionnelle à la région distale de l'arbre allongé et une gaine allongée traversée par un lumen situé au-dessus de l'arbre allongé. La gaine allongée peut avoir un diamètre externe décroissant ou une région de paroi d'épaisseur réduite présentant de meilleures caractéristiques atraumatiques.
