The invention relates to the use of a copolymer (A) in a varnish that is used to produce varnish coatings and color- and/or effect-producing multi-layer coatings. Said copolymer (A) is obtained by radically polymerizing in an aqueous medium a) at least one olefinically unsaturated monomer and b) at least one olefinically unsaturated monomer of the general formula (I) R1R2C=CR3R4 that is different from the olefinically unsaturated monomer (a), wherein the residues R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently hydrogen atoms or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkylcycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, cycloalkylaryl, arylalkyl or arylcycloalkyl groups, with the proviso that at least two of the variables R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent substituted or unsubstituted aryl, arylalkyl or arylcycloalkyl groups, especially substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un copolymérisat (A) dans un vernis servant à la production de vernis KL et de peintures multicouches à coloration ou à effet ML. Le copolymérisat (A) est produit par polymérisation radicalaire dans un milieu aqueux de a) au moins un monomère oléfiniquement insaturé et de b) au moins un monomère oléfiniquement insaturé différent du monomère oléfiniquement insaturé (a) de formule générale R?1¿R?2¿C=CR?3¿R?4¿ (I). Dans la formule (I), les restes R?1¿, R?2¿, R?3¿ et R?4¿ représentent, indépendamment les uns des autres, des atomes d'hydrogène ou des restes alkyle, cycloalkyle, alkylcycloalkyle, cycloalkylalkyle, aryle, alkylaryle, cycloalkylaryle, arylalkyle ou arylcycloalkyle substitués ou non, à condition qu'au moins deux des variables R?1¿, R?2¿, R?3¿ et R?4¿ représentent des restes aryle, arylalkyle ou arylcycloalkyle substitués ou non, en particulier des restes aryle substitués ou non.
