ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vector carrier of the promoter of the lactose operon and of at least a fragment of the Z gene of this same operon, wherein at least one sequence, more particularly a sequence including the proximal portion of a gene coding extracytoplasmic protein, notably a bacterial receptor for a phage, or at least of its precursor, is inserted in this vector, more part- icularly in this Z gene or fragment of Z gene, or immediately downstream of the latter. The length of this extracytoplasmic gene sequence is sufficient to permit the excretion, under the control of the promotor of the lactose operon, of the hybrid protein expressible in a bacterial strain, into which said vector has previously been introduced.
