A system for loading and unloading a vehicle, including: a vehicle actuated wheel chock positioning device (10) for at least one tire (T2) of such a vehicle which is rotatable on a treadway (S) between an initial position (A) and a plurality of operating positions (A, B) the chock positioning device (10) including a mechanism (15) engageable by such tire (T2) at the initial position (A) and movable with the tire (T2) as it rolls on the treadway (S), a chock (16) positionable behind the tire (T2) when the mechanism (15) is in any of the operating positions (A, B) in response to engagement of the mechanism (15) by the rolling tire (T2), and a lock (30) capable of selectively locking the chock (16) in a chock position behind the tire corresponding to one of the operating positions (A, B), the system, in one preferred embodiment further including a leveling ramp (20) carrying the chock positioning device (10) with means (26) to vertically position the device (10) and a vehicle chocked thereby to a selectable vertical position.
Un système de chargement et de déchargement d'un véhicule comprend: un dispositif de positionnement de cale de roue (10) actionné par le véhicule, destiné à au moins un pneu (T2) dudit véhicule, ce pneu pouvant rouler sur un plan de roulement (S) entre une position initiale (A) et une pluralité de positions de fonctionnement (A, B). Le dispositif de positionnement de cale (10) comprend: un mécanisme (15) pouvant être enclenché dans la position initiale (A) par ce pneu (T2) et pouvant se déplacer avec ce dernier lors de sa progression sur le plan de roulement (S), une cale (16) pouvant être positionnée derrière le pneu (T2) lorsque le mécanisme (15) se trouve dans une position de fonctionnement quelconque (A, B) correspondant à l'enclenchement du mécanisme (15) par le pneu (T2) en mouvement, et un organe de blocage (30) capable de bloquer la cale (16) de façon sélective dans une position de calage derrière le pneu, correspondant à l'une des positions de fonctionnement (A, B). Dans un mode préféré de réalisation, le système comprend en outre une rampe de mise à niveau (20) supportant le dispositif de positionnement de cale (10) et munie d'éléments (26) destinés à maintenir le dispositif (10) en position verticale et un véhicule ainsi calé dans une position verticale pouvant être sélectionnée.
